For Siji Greenhouse (and our Clients) there are four important elements to the import equation:
- Quality :Quality must be first rate. The few suppliers we deal with, have demonstated their ability to continuously supply uniformly high quality plants, pest and disease free.
- Packing/shipping :Packing is an art in itself. Shipping time, temperature and humidity need to be well controlled. Also 'nesting' and physical arrangements can both protect plants during transit and reduce transit costs.
- Service :Suppliers need to be active and have excellent contacts in order to rapidly source and supply quality goods. They also need to be easily contacted at short notice.
- Landed costs :Taking all the above into account, the final, and one of the most important things is to get the plant at a competitive rate so that this advantage can be passed onto the end user.
