Mini Globe Mother of Pearl
A carefully built synthetic core forms the base of this planter, finished with a detailed cladding of natural mother of pearl. Each shell is sorted by colour and quality, then precisely cut to fit its position, allowing for neat, even joins across the surface.
Before assembly, every piece is hand polished, and once complete, the planter is lacquered to protect the finish. A thick clad rim reinforces the top edge, giving the planter a strong, substantial feel both in structure and appearance. The use of mother of pearl also gives the piece a noticeably solid weight.
